Read the relic reward table
A relic has a specific set of possible rewards. Match the full relic name to the component you want rather than relying only on its tier.
Check whether you already own the relic and whether its current acquisition source is available. Owning an older relic and farming a new copy are different situations.
Choose a compatible fissure
Confirm compatibility in the mission selection screen. Select a loadout that can complete both the mission and fissure objective.
Refinement uses Void Traces to change reward probabilities. It does not guarantee the rare reward, so spend traces according to your goal.
Decide what to do with the reward
Keep components needed for a craft or set you want. Compare tradeable duplicates against current market listings if you intend to sell them.
Check the exact item version before listing. The presence of a related item in a market search does not mean every crafted version is tradeable.
Frequently asked questions
Should I always choose the reward with the highest listed price?
Not necessarily. You may need a component for progression, and a high asking price does not guarantee a sale.
