Check the reward timing
Confirm when the target reward is awarded. A short mission is not useful for your target if the relevant reward requires a later rotation.
Include preparation and extraction in your plan. Avoid starting an activity you cannot reasonably finish within the time available.
Use your own pace
Pick equipment and a mission you can run consistently. The fastest route for a coordinated squad may not be the fastest route for your account.
Try a few runs and note actual completion times and drops. Do not redesign your entire session around one unusually lucky result.
Have a stopping rule
Decide on a time limit or a number of runs before starting. Review your progress at that point rather than continuing only because the target has not dropped.
If you intend to sell the reward, check current listings before farming additional copies. Acquisition and sale both take time.
Frequently asked questions
Should I always pick the mission with the shortest timer?
No. Check the target's reward rotation, loading time, failure risk, and the equipment you can bring.
